Terms of Service for "The Singles Ward"

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to "The Singles Ward" dating app and website ("the App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Especially For Singles LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 and capable of forming a legally binding contract.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using a valid authentication method (such as Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete profile information and to update it as necessary.

You are responsible for your own safety. We strongly advise taking precautions when meeting other users in person, including meeting in public places and informing a trusted person about your plans. The App is not a substitute for personal judgment and caution.

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Terms, please report it through the App's reporting mechanisms. We review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, profile hiding, or account suspension.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display your content for operating, improving, and promoting the App.

5.2 Content Guidelines

Your content must not infringe on others' rights, be false or misleading, promote hate speech or violence, or contain harmful code. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines at any time and without prior notice.

6. AI Content Moderation

6.1 Automated Text Moderation

We use artificial intelligence, including Cloudflare Workers AI, to automatically review text content submitted to the App (such as profile bios, prompts, and messages) for violations of our content guidelines. This automated review helps us maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users.

6.2 Automated Photo Moderation

Photos uploaded to the App are analyzed using AI-powered image analysis (including multimodal models such as LLaVA) to detect content that may violate our guidelines, including but not limited to explicit imagery, violent content, or non-photographic images. Photos that are flagged by our automated systems may be removed or hidden pending human review.

6.3 Automated Flagging

Content identified as potentially violating our guidelines by automated systems may be flagged for further review. Flagged content may be temporarily hidden from other users while under review. We strive to review flagged content promptly but cannot guarantee specific review timelines.

6.4 Limitations

AI moderation systems are not perfect and may occasionally flag content incorrectly or fail to detect violations. You may contact us at contact@singlesward.app if you believe your content was incorrectly flagged or removed.

7. Administration and Moderation

We maintain an administrative system to manage the App and enforce these Terms. Our administrators and moderators have the authority to:

8. Push Notifications

The App may send you push notifications related to your account activity, including but not limited to new matches, messages, and system announcements. You can manage your notification preferences through your device settings or within the App. By enabling push notifications, you consent to receiving these communications. Push notification delivery depends on your device, operating system, and network conditions, and we cannot guarantee delivery of all notifications.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in activities that may harm the App, other users, or third parties, or for any other reason we deem appropriate. You may also delete your account at any time through the App's account settings.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by other reasonable means, and your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, Especially For Singles LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from content moderation decisions, push notification failures, or interactions with other users.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Utah.
